Why vintage clothing?
At Nostalgic Appreciation we believe there is enough clothes in the world and that it's our mission to find them and give them new homes.

We also believe in buying less but better products that will bring joy for many years. That's why we put so much effort into curating the best selection only.

By shopping vintage clothing you help eliminating the process that is making new products. Also vintage is badass and way better than any new clothing.

Can't I just buy a new t-shirt with the same print?
Yes you can. But what we do is completely different.

In a world of fashion where trends come and go and everything changes all the time, there is something truly unique about having the same piece of clothing throughout the years. Holding on to those specific garments that brings you joy is something that will stand the time against any trend.

We love culture. We love references. We take pride in finding the items that has been lost for decades and bring them new life and new homes.

Why are there holes/stains on some of your clothing?
It is in the nature of vintage clothing for the garments to have holes, stains etc. We welcome that. When something has been worn for decades, as some of the stuff we are selling, it is unlikely that it won't have any marks/stains/holes. We welcome that. The process of a t-shirt changing from a pitch black to a faded grey-ish color is some of the most beautiful to witness.

As Heraclitus said "change is the only constant in life". However we like to pause that thought and hold on to our favorite stuff for as long as it's possible. There is something special about extending the life and caring about a specific garment. We love to wear, wash, destroy and repair our stuff.

How do I extend the life of my vintage garment?
To extend the life of your vintage t-shirts we encourage you to wash your t-shirts at low heat with a quick program and hang dry them after wash.

Washing your clothes in cold water helps them last longer and saves energy. Hang drying your clothes after washing saves energy and keeps your clothes safe from heat damage.
